Under the motto „Out with the old, in with the new“, the Day care Eberswalde once again the children of the Kinderparadies Nordend day nursery for a joint creative morning.
Together with the day guests, people crafted, designed and experimented. Simple jars and napkins were turned into individual lanterns, while old newspapers were transformed into decorative flowers with a little imagination.
A lantern was given a very special place: it was decorated with ginkgo napkins, thereby picking up on the ginkgo motif characteristic of ProCurand.
The joint activity showed the children in a very practical way that supposedly worn-out materials do not have to end up in the bin. With creativity and simple means, something new can be created from them. In this way, the topics of sustainability and environmental protection were also conveyed in a playful manner.
However, the focus was on the shared experience of young and old. Children and day guests had a lot of fun getting creative together and bringing their ideas to life.
