Welcome (willkommen auf portugiesisch) to "Brazil in Eberswalde": This time, the day guests of the ProCurand Day care Eberswalde During the country weeks, we went to South America, specifically Brazil. The day care room was decorated in the national colours and the day guests made bracelets in blue, yellow and green. Everyone had a great time. Each bracelet was unique and was worn with pride by the day guests.
During memory training, everyone explored the country's diverse wildlife, as Brazil is the most biodiverse country on Earth! It is home to more than 500 species of mammals, thousands of bird and fish species, and countless insects. The day visitors eagerly answered questions about exotic animals such as macaws, cockatoos, and tarantulas, and engaged in lively discussion.
During the afternoon rest, the day care team showed the animated film „Rio" for those who wanted to stay awake, the story of the tame, flightless Spix's macaw Blu. Of course, there were also culinary specialities again, the team served exotic-fruity cocktails, rum balls and pastries. Delicious!
