There was also a colourful carnival this year in the ProCurand Park Sanssouci senior citizens' residence. Under the motto „Courage to wear a hat“, all residents and staff were invited to celebrate the fifth season on Shrove Tuesday. The motto brought out the creative streak in many of them. Whether it was birds„ nests, rain clouds or witches“ hats, the most amazing creations came to light. But the carnival party wasn't just for the eyes. As befits carnival, there were pancakes (known elsewhere as doughnuts) and a glass of punch. Annemarie Frinke put everyone in a good mood with a solo programme. There was a lot of singing, swaying and clapping. "Everyone involved had a lot of fun. Thanks to our care staff, who once again did a great job organising and decorating everything," says care service provider Angela Enders. Great!
