The ProCurand team Cottbus retirement home celebrated a summer festival together with the residents – and at the same time, the 25th ProCurand anniversary. The Cottbus residents were lucky with the weather, which played along. It was a sunny 28°C. The artist Doris Andreas provided musical entertainment. Enlivened by fun show interludes, she sang Schlager and evergreens for swaying and singing along. Her performance was so well-received that the residents declared: "She's the best singer we've ever had!" As is tradition in Cottbus, there was strawberry cake, ice cream sundaes with fresh strawberries, and strawberry punch at the summer festival. The residents had prepared the potato salad together the day before. Grill sausages were served with it. As a guest of honour – that's also a cherished tradition – the Cottbus residents welcomed former facility manager Ingrid Gutsche, who still feels at home in the facility. It was a very successful summer festival, everyone agreed, brilliant!
