Tenants from ProCurand's serviced apartments Senftenberg retirement home recently went on a steamboat trip together on Lake Senftenberg. Before the tour began at the landing stage in Großkoschen, everyone enjoyed refreshing iced coffee, ice cream or coffee and cake in the Strandidylle beer garden, a popular meeting place on the lakeshore. Invigorated and in a good mood, we boarded the Santa Barbara and the weather played along. The sun was shining and a light breeze was blowing across the lake. „To celebrate the start of the trip properly, we sang the well-known song ‚Eine Seefahrt, die ist lustig‘ together,' says Yvonne Prinz from Reception, who was there together with Doreen Schuckel from Administration. The steamboat trip took them from Großkoschen to Senftenberg and Niemtsch across the beautiful Lake Senftenberg and was a relaxing experience for everyone, who were treated to coffee and cake during the trip. The conversations were lively, there was a lot of laughter and stories were told. Everyone was delighted with the excursion and many tenants expressed the wish to repeat the steamboat trip soon. Great idea, dear Senftenberg residents!
