The turn of the year at ProCurand Nursing home Pfarrer Lukas in Cham went off without any loud bangs or fireworks, but with light and love! Instead of firecrackers, our team presented all residents with small glow sticks, which our senior residents turned into creative bracelets and necklaces or decorated their rooms with the shining decorations „Some were so enthusiastic that they even put their glow sticks in vases without bending them so that they could keep them for longer and dream about them,“ reveals Nicole Roith, Head of Social Care. Of course, there was also a glass of punch and delicious, festively prepared New Year's Eve platters.
On New Year's Day, our people from Cham dressed up as messengers of good luck and went round the house. The cloverleaf and chimney sweep wished everyone a Happy New Year and handed out small New Year's greetings. This is a nice tradition in Cham and is always very well received.
