In the ProCurand Cottbus retirement home A traditional New Year's reception was held at the beginning of the year, which was attended by 30 tenants of the residence. The tables in the common room were very imaginatively decorated, thanks to employee Monika Schröter. It looked very festive. After a short speech by facility manager Daniela Landsberg, we toasted the New Year with sparkling wine. Together with our volunteer Margot Kählig, Daniela Landsberg provided the champagne, coffee and cake. There was mango cake and an optional chocolate and cherry cake. A round of eggnog (non-alcoholic version: vanilla sauce) was of course also a must. The atmosphere was great and the tenants chatted long after the event had officially ended. „We wish ourselves and everyone else a peaceful and healthy New Year,“ says Daniela Landsberg.
