The ProCurand team Cottbus retirement home recently sailed across Lake Schwielochsee on a paddle steamer together with the centre's tenants. The joyful trip started at the landing stage in Goyatz. Everyone enjoyed the fantastic summer weather and the beautiful landscape around the lake. There was delicious potato salad with bockwurst and later coffee and cake. In between, the tenants refreshed themselves with Berliner Weisse with a shot or Aperol Spritz.
Back on land, the Cottbus residents stopped off at the fairground in Goyatz and treated themselves to a scoop or two of ice cream from what is rated Germany's best vanilla ice cream maker. One resident couldn't get enough of the cool water and swam a little round in the lake - refreshing!
