This year's summer party at the ProCurand Senior citizens' residence Am Straussee well-known personalities from politics, sport and showbiz were invited. The star line-up was impressive: Queen Elizabeth II appeared accompanied by her Mistress of the Robe (lady-in-waiting). Michael Schumacher came with Steffi Graf, Heinz Rühmann with Charlie Chaplin. Actress Romy Schneider was there in her role as „Sissi“, as was Marlene Dietrich. Musical stars also attended the summer festival: Nana Mouskouri, Wolfgang Petry and the Blues Brothers. All V.I.Ps were accompanied by
the respective soundtrack of their time or their work. It was like the excitement of a big gala!
The show was hosted by Kiwi (Andrea Kiewel), alias the centre manager Janin Tiedemann. The residents guessed who would be appearing on stage next based on the right music - and they were always right! Afterwards, entertainer Alf Weis did his usual job of getting the stars and starlets - residents, relatives and staff - to sing, dance and sway along. „Thanks to the support from all areas, we once again celebrated an unforgettable summer party, even though the most important guest, the sun, was absent most of the time,“ reports Janin Tiedemann.
