Trip to Oderberg: the ProCurand team Day care Strausberg travelled to Oderberg with 20 day guests and 5 carers. There they travelled across Lake Oderberg on a passenger boat. The route took them through the village of Oderberg to the old fishing village of Liepe, then to the old Niederfinow boat lift with an exciting view of the major construction site at the new Niederfinow boat lift. After the lowering in the Niederfinow ship lift, the tour returned to the home harbour of Oderberg.
During the 2.5-hour tour, the captain told anecdotes and facts about the architecture, landscape and history via loudspeaker. Our day guests enthusiastically took photos and videos to capture the impressive buildings and technology of the boat lift and to remember them later. Their conclusion: an unforgettable experience with a lot of joie de vivre!
