For the last time before the summer holidays, it was „Young meets old“ again at ProCurand Nursing home Pfarrer Lukas in the Cham. At the end of the school year, there was a small graduation party for residents and pupils. Over a delicious ice cream, they talked at length about the school year they had spent together. As a thank you, „Old“ had prepared a sweet treat, which „Young“ was very happy about.
Teacher Maria Senbert, one of the project leaders, wrote a report for the school newspaper in which she gave pupils and residents a chance to have their say. Everyone emphasised how positive and enriching the shared experiences were. „We hope that the project will attract enough interested people again next school year so that it can take place. We look forward to seeing „Young meets old“ again soon after the holidays," says Nicole Roith, Head of Social Care.
