In wonderful summer weather, the team and residents of ProCurand Senior Citizens' Centre Am Herzogschloss their summer party this year. And there was a record: 86 of the 111 residents turned up in the centre's garden. Never before have so many attended a party! The culinary pampering programme started in the early afternoon with coffee, strawberry cake, Bavarian doughnuts and cakes. From 5 p.m., everyone - including those who had to or wanted to stay on the wards - enjoyed freshly grilled steaks and sausages with salad and poppy-seed schnitzels.
Veteran musicians provided the musical entertainment. The party went on into the balmy summer evening, after which the team had to clean up! But that went really well, as the people of Sulzbach-Rosenberg naturally pitched in together and everyone helped.
