Lanterns, lanterns, sun, moon and stars: the annual lantern parade organised by ProCurand Senior citizens' residence Am Görnsee through Kloster Lenin/ Grebs. The residents gathered with their relatives at the entrance to the facility and walked through the village with their self-made lanterns. The team accompanied them, of course. Wheelchairs and walking frames were also decorated with fairy lights. A colourful column of light marched through Lenin Monastery. At the front of the procession was the building technician Percy Assmann, who played atmospheric songs on a jukebox. After the walk, a small refreshment from the barbecue awaited everyone. There were sausages and hot tea and coffee. A nice highlight at this darker time of year!
