The residents of ProCurand Senior citizens' residence Am Straussee Celebrations were held on the terrace on Whit Sunday. Music, beer, sparkling wine, and the glorious weather created a fantastic atmosphere. There was singing along, swaying, and lots of laughter. On Whit Monday, the festivities continued: the Alex Band delighted residents and their relatives in the restaurant with live music that was simply feel-good. The Strausberg locals danced and had a wonderful time. For refreshments, they were treated to May wine with fresh strawberries and mint, and a cake buffet. There were ice cream sundaes and a delicious cheese selection, butter pretzels, and asparagus salad with salmon pralines. "Delicious" was the unanimous verdict!
Two guests experienced a nostalgic moment. Gabriele and Bernd Buddruss celebrated their wedding at the restaurant in 1996. At that time, the furnishings and the restaurant still belonged to a different operator. During the Pentecost festival, the couple danced a Viennese waltz with us and both enjoyed a slice of strawberry cake. Then, with many refreshed memories, they took the ferry back home across the Straussee. .
It was a really lovely Whitsun weekend, everyone agreed!
