On Valentine's Day, the ProCurand Nursing home Pfarrer Lukas a very spontaneous special event. The starting point was a conversation the day before: a resident told us that she and her husband never celebrated Valentine's Day. Instead, they always called it „It's nice that you exist“ day and made other people happy.
This idea was taken up. On Valentine's Day, Nicole Roith, Head of Social Care - dressed as Cupid - presented the residents and colleagues with a heart-shaped chocolate with the words: „It's nice that you exist.“
The small gift was met with a lot of positive feedback. Valentine's Day thus became a day of appreciation in our nursing home - the „It's nice that you exist“ day.
