Once a month, a special guest graces ProCurand Senftenberg retirement home with his keyboard: Mr Vetter volunteers at the facility, providing musical entertainment and good cheer.
This time, many residents gathered on the terrace in beautiful weather to sing together. They sang well-known classics, and many swayed along. The familiar melodies evoked memories of times gone by and brought smiles to their faces – and afterwards, led to lively conversations.
"The cheerful sounds didn't go unnoticed: passers-by cycling or walking past our residence stopped and cast curious glances at the lively singing community on the terrace," says occupational therapist Ricarda Thieme.
A big thank you to Mr Vetter for his voluntary commitment and the wonderful musical hours, which bring our residents great joy. Everyone is already looking forward to his next visit!
